A few weeks ago, I finally finished my unrelenting weeding project in the garden, laid down some weed cloth and bark around the beds, and scattered some very fragrant mulch. The weed situation is under control, although I do need to spend a half hour or so pulling here and there, and overall things are progressing nicely.
Last night I noticed that the zucchini, beans, corn and pumpkin are all starting to form. Considering I didn't plant until mid-June, from seeds no-less, I'm pretty excited that vegetables are actually growing in my backyard. Here's little glimpse of the future harvest.
